New Forest District Council (NFDC) is offering support to New Forest residents and businesses to help them start-up and grow their new business in 2023.
Whether you are thinking of becoming self-employed, have a new business idea that you would like to explore, or are a New Forest business that has been trading for less than three years and needs help to grow and be more resilient, this support could be perfect for you.
Councillor Michael Harris OBE, New Forest District Council Portfolio Holder for Business, High Streets and Tourism said: “There is no doubt that businesses need all the help that they can get at the moment, so it is timely that NFDC are launching an exciting new package of free support for start-ups and new businesses. I encourage any New Forest resident who is thinking of becoming self-employed or starting a business to contact IncuHive who will help them to have a clear business road map from the outset”.
The support includes ongoing 1:1 guidance to help you put the advice given into action and to maximise the chances of your business surviving long term. Funding from New Forest District Council means this service is completely free of charge to New Forest residents or businesses.
The start-up support is being delivered by small business experts IncuHive. Andy Pringle, Business Support Manager at IncuHive said: “Getting the right advice in the early stages can dramatically increase your chances of success. IncuHive’s experienced team have already supported thousands of start-ups and we would love to help you too.”
